witch hazel

Witch Hazel is a natural extract derived from bark, leaves and twigs of the Hamamelis virginiana plant. It helps soothe and calm down angered pores. It contains large quantity of tannins that have an astringent effect to help tighten up the pores.

tea tree oil

Tea Tree Oil is derived by distilling the leaves of the Australian Melaleuca alternifolia tree. This warm, aromatic essential oil penetrates quickly into pores and is beneficial for blackheads-prone skin. The indigenous Bundjalung people of eastern Australia use it as a traditional medicine by inhaling the oil from the crushed leaves to treat cough and cold. They also sprinkle leaves on wounds, after which a poultice is applied. In addition, tea tree leaves are soaked to make an infusion to treat sore throat or skin ailments.

lemon

Lemon extract is derived from the fruit of the lemon tree. It helps tonify oily skin by reducing oil, while the natural AHA (citric acid) helps clear complexion by safely exfoliating dead skin cells found on the surface.
